How to make money with social media? Man so many people talking about making money, I just wanted to take a second to share some of the gold nuggets I’ve found. There are a hundred seminars on the topic, but lets just talk strategy.

First off, you need a product or service to promote. Most of you reading this article probably already do, but if you don’t have a product or service to sell yet, ask yourself what your passionate about. Find a need in the marketplace and fill it. I would encourage you to get really good at sales, and begin to market affiliate programs in the niche you’re passionate about.

When I got started in Social Media, I built my business purely off of Facebook. It was great, I ended up making multiple six-figures in a direct sales company, but I ran into a ceiling. You can only do so much “inside” of a social network. What I mean is that Facebook was tracking my every move. If they decided that I was promoting too much, then they(facebook) could temporarily suspend my account.

Not only did I realize I was hitting a ceiling in Facebook, but I realized that it would happen again and again no matter which social network I grew my group in. What I discovered was a powerful solution.

I could take the traffic off of facebook and get the names and emails of my friends, followers, connections, and viewers into my own database. The secret to this became my strategy now. Instead of posting information on all the networks. I began to drive all the traffic to my blog. Here I have been able to capture that traffic and gather their information on my own lists.

I have been blessed. I grew up with a group of really hardworking parents, I started college very young, graduated and moved on to my dream job, only to find that it wasn’t my dream anymore.

I then created a new dream, that to create micro-finance banks overseas and teach financial literacy overseas. My current occupation didnt allow me to fund a bank overseas so I turned to the network marketing industry.
